Linux Desktop Client Installation
Learn how to install, verify, and run the official AllSafeX desktop application on Debian, Ubuntu, and Linux Mint using the .deb package.
Package Overview
The AllSafeX Linux desktop client provides a native privileged workbench for system engineers. It communicates directly with your AllSafeX server, supports hardware-accelerated terminal emulation, and manages multiple concurrent privileged sessions.
Installing the .deb Package
Open your terminal and navigate to the directory where the installer was downloaded:
# Install using apt (automatically resolves dependencies)
sudo apt install ./AllSafeX-1.0.0-x64.deb
# Alternatively, install using dpkg
sudo dpkg -i AllSafeX-1.0.0-x64.deb
Resolving Dependencies
If installing via dpkg reports missing shared libraries (such as libnss3, libasound2, or libgtk-3-0), run:
# Fix and fetch any missing packages automatically
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install -f -y
File Locations & Launchers
The .deb package configures standard Linux desktop integration:

/usr/share/applications/allsafex-pam.desktop |

/usr/share/icons/hicolor/.../allsafex-pam.png |
